Who we are

DuoTask ("we", "us") operates the DuoTask Spark website at duotask.app and the DuoTask Spark iOS app. For any privacy question or request, contact us at aislan@longevitytlabs.tech.

Information we collect

• Launch-list email. If you join our launch list, we store the email address you submit so we can tell you when the app is available. We do not collect your name or any other detail for the launch list.
• App account data. When the iOS app launches, using it will involve the information you choose to add: a display name, household membership, the chores and rewards you create, completion history, points and any photos you attach to surprise rewards.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the website secure and available.

How we use your information

• To send launch updates to the email address you gave us.
• To operate the app: syncing chores, points and rewards between household members.
• To respond to support and privacy requests.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run DuoTask Spark: cloud hosting and database infrastructure (Lovable Cloud) and transactional email delivery. These providers process your information only to provide their service to us and are bound by their own data-protection obligations.

Retention

Launch-list emails are kept until the app launches and for a short period after, unless you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email sooner. App data is kept while your account is active; deleting your account deletes your personal data, except where we must keep limited records for legal or security reasons.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe. Every launch email includes an unsubscribe link, or email us and we will remove you.
• Access, correct or delete. Email us at aislan@longevitytlabs.tech to request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. We respond within 30 days.
• US state privacy rights. If you are a resident of California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have additional rights to know, access, correct, delete and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out is required, but you may exercise your other rights by contacting us.

Children

DuoTask Spark is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level database rules so that household data is only visible to members of that household. Surprise-reward photos are stored as a blurred preview, and the original image is only made available after the linked task is completed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above. For significant changes, we will also notify launch-list subscribers by email.
